Contacts Data

• NextContact accesses your device’s contacts only to:
  • Create local backup files (Excel and PDF)
  • Restore contacts back to your device from the generated Excel file
• All contact data remains on your device.
• We do not upload, store, or transmit your contacts to any server.

Analytics Data

• We collect aggregated, non-personal analytics such as:
  • Total number of contacts exported
  • Total number of contacts restored
• This data does not include contact names, phone numbers, emails, or any personal identifiers.
• This information is used solely to improve app performance and user experience.

2. How We Use Information

We use data only to:

• Enable contact backup and restore functionality
• Generate local Excel and PDF backup files
• Understand overall app usage through anonymous aggregated counts

We do not:

• Sell user data
• Share personal data with third parties
• Use contacts for advertising, marketing, or profiling

3. Data Storage & Security

• Backup files (Excel/PDF) are stored locally on your device in a location accessible to you.
• You are fully responsible for managing, sharing, or deleting these files.
• We do not retain copies of your data.

4. Permissions Explanation

NextContact requests:

• Read contact permission  - to read and backup contacts
• Write contact permission - to restore contacts 

These permissions are used only for core app functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

NextContact does not use third-party services that collect personal user data.

6. Children’s Privacy

NextContact is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Control & Choices

You can:

• Deny permissions (some features may not work)
• Delete backup files at any time
• Uninstall the app to stop all data access
